For The Fantasy Swords Collector

If you’re a fan of the fantasy genre in both games and movies, then you might want to consider a hobby of collecting fantasy swords. These swords are the next best thing to watching the movie or playing your favorite video game. If you ever get a fantasy sword in your hands, you will realize that it’s actually fun to hold in your hands a blade or some other weapon that you would otherwise just see your favorite character or hero hold in the movies or video games.

One such video game that produced a great fantasy sword is Dragon’s Lair. This game was created by a company called Cinematronics way back in 1983. The game revolved around a hero named Dirk the Daring, who was set out on a quest to rescue the distressed Princes Daphne from Singe, an evil dragon who lived in a wizard’s castle.

While the original version did suffer the constraints of old-fashioned video gaming, it was actually very comparable to all the other games that came out with it. Technically speaking, the Dragon’s Lair game was very well made compared to the other games in the 1980’s. This is probably why the developers did not let go of the opportunity of making improved versions and sequels of the game on subsequent video game platforms. You can even see the last edition of the game on the Xbox.

Because of this, old school and modern video game fans who enjoyed the classic knight vs. dragons fantasy themed games have also thought of getting their own Annual Dragon’s Lair Sword. This is actually a sword based off the video game itself, and is even designed with a medieval type pattern etched right near the sword’s handle. The sword is made of stainless steel blade, which makes it virtually last forever.

It isn’t battle ready, however, and is unsharpened. But it makes for a great display in any fantasy swords collection. So don’t miss out on the Annual Dragon’s Lair Sword. You can also get your hands on the limited Edition of this collectible sword.
