* Moving the pieces
If you touch a chess piece, you’re obligated to move it. If you pick up a piece, place it on a square and keep your fingers on it, however, it’s OK to move it back to the original square. You still have to move it, but you’re free to choose another square. Once you let go, though, it’s officially considered a move.
* The clock
It’s essential that you use the same hand to press the clock that you use to move the pieces. Also, once the clock has been pressed, you’re not allowed to keep your hand on or over it. If you’re playing in a tournament, you should press the clock to stop it if there’s ever a need to converse with the tournament director about any aspect of the game.
* Draws
The correct way to offer a draw is to move a piece and offer the draw before you press your clock. Once the draw is offered, then you can stop your clock. Do not extend an offer of a draw while time is running on your opponent’s clock.

I certainly remember my first experience it was playing with an old off-road electric remote control (RC) car at my local park. Driving a little car as fast you can off-road was a lot of fun and trying to push it to its limits, but of course I pushed it far too hard and ended up breaking it! That day sparked my passion for RC cars and I have never looked back since.
In my opinion speed is everything! For people wanting to get started straight away and not wanting to have read and learn about how maintain a RC I would recommend going for an electric car. You don’t need to spend loads of cash on cars to achieve good speed, I would recommend starting with an electric car which is easy to maintain and quick as well as also allowing you to build your knowledge.
For outright speed RC nitro cars is the only this to go for! They provide so much more speed than electric cars however there not easy to maintain. You’re going to need to maintain the air cleaners, glo-plugs etc for nitro cars because of their nitro engines. The parts in a Nitro car operate in a similar way to a fuel car and this does have its benefits. Nitro engines have clutches and do take time to spool up. As a result you also get the benefit of the car actually sounding like a normal car not a toy! Nitro cars have the beneft of only taking seconds to refuel and also lasting a long duration than their electric counterparts. Mono Hull Configuration – With this hull design there is a single surface that is always in contact with the waters surface. Often referred to as a “V-Hull”, the mono hull provides the best stability for radio controlled boats in choppy conditions.
There are two types of V-hull designs, one is the “Deep-V and the second is the “Shallow-V”. The Deep-V is the most popular type for RC but the Shallow-V is a close second. The Shallow-V will usually go faster with equivalent power because it has less surface area in contact with the water. It should be noted that in rough conditions the Deep-V is more stable and will therefore outperform a Shallow-V with equivalent power.
Compromises are just a normal part of buying a remote control boat. If you are operating your radio controlled boat in a calm location you may enjoy the increased performance of a catamaran or hydroplane hull. If you primarily operate your boat in a rough area you should always pick a Deep-V design hull.
